Rob McCormick
Rob McCormick founded Avatara in 2005 with the mission to provide small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with advanced, enterprise-level IT services through a proprietary, secure, in-house approach. Prior to Avatara, Rob held the role of CEO at Savvis from 1999 to 2005, where he launched the industry’s first-ever virtualized managed hosting platform. His leadership involved overseeing numerous strategic acquisitions, securing significant equity funding, driving considerable growth, and executing one of the largest technology IPOs of the era. Before his time at Savvis, Rob served as COO of Bridge Information Systems, which was later spun off to become Savvis in 2000.
